Delivery Policy
Petaltalk can deliver flowers and gifts to almost anywhere in Australia, where fresh flowers are available. Most deliveries can be completed within 24 hours however some deliveries can be subject to local restrictions, especially in rural areas.
To ensure delivery on your specified date please ensure correct delivery details are given. We cannot be responsible for non-delivery if you provide us with an incorrect address or our courier cannot gain access to the property. If our courier cannot gain access the flowers will be returned and the recipient contacted by phone to collect the flowers. If you do not want the recipient contacted please notify us when ordering.
Delivery Times
Delivery Monday to Friday
Online orders placed Monday to Friday prior to 2pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) can generally be delivered the same day.
In some rural areas delivery may be subject to restricted times and may take up to 48 hours.
If your order falls on a public holiday your order will automatically be completed on the next business day.
Delivery Saturday
Online orders placed on Saturday prior to 10am (AEST) can generally be delivered the same day.
In some rural areas delivery may be subject to restricted times and may not be delivered until the following Monday.
If your order falls on a public holiday your order will automatically be completed on the next business day.
Delivery Sunday
Sunday deliveries are not available. Orders placed for delivery on Sunday will be automatically delivered the next business day. This excludes Mother’s Day where deliveries are available. Refer to Mother’s Day Deliveries.
Public Holidays
Public Holiday deliveries are not available. Orders placed for delivery on a Public Holiday will be automatically delivered the next business day.
Urgent Deliveries
For Urgent Deliveries please call us at Petaltalk on 1800 614 717 prior to placing your order so that we can advise you the availability of your delivery request.
Overseas Deliveries
For Overseas Deliveries please call at Petaltalk on 1800 614 717 to organise your delivery request. Petaltalk can deliver flowers around the world and when you call our friendly customer service number we will be able to give you specific prices and availability for the country you would like delivery to.
Rural Areas
In some rural areas deliveries may be unable to be delivered to properties outside of town boundaries set by the couriers. In these situations deliveries will be delivered to a collection point (often a post office or general store) and the recipient is contacted to collect the delivery from this point. It is therefore essential that we have a contact number for all recipients in rural areas.
Delivery for funerals
Funeral orders are treated as priority at Petaltalk and we therefore require specific information in order to complete these orders as smoothly as possible.

Deliveries for Hospitals and Nursing Homes
At Petaltalk we do suggest that flowers and gifts sent to hospitals are in an arrangement in its own container as many hospitals have limited vases available.
As you can understand deliveries to hospitals can be confusing without adequate information. To complete your delivery to a hospital, please make sure you give us as much information as possible.

Delivery For Mother’s Day
The cut off time for guaranteed delivery on Mother’s Day within Australia (subject to local delivery restrictions) is 3pm the Saturday before Mother’s Day. If ordering on Mother’s Day we will still do everything we can to deliver your flowers on Mother’s day otherwise they will be delivered on the next business day.
Wine
Wine cannot be delivered to or accepted by any person under the age of 18. We are also unable to leave it at a delivery address unattended. Some states require florists to have a special licence to deliver alcohol with flowers and therefore not all florists in all areas are able to deliver alcohol with flower orders. In these instances the florist will increase the flower content of the order for the same value of the alcohol unless previously advised otherwise.

Customer Service Policy
At Petaltalk we pride ourselves on both the quality of our flowers and our delivery.
We will deliver on the date specified by you (refer to our delivery policy) and every effort will be made to meet requests made for delivery times.
At Petaltalk we aim to match the arrangements pictured on this site, however due to some flowers being seasonal and the availability of containers and sundries across the country, this is not always possible. In every situation our florists will substitute flowers of equal or greater value to the photo. This may vary the exact look of your arrangement to the photo on this site; therefore our pictures should be used as a guide only. Also the photo’s we use on this site show the flowers in full bloom, whereas our professional florists will use flowers that may still be in bud to ensure the arrangement will last as long as possible. As floristry is an art form each florist has there own particular style and therefore may change designs slightly from the pictures to accommodate each individual bloom and how it look the best in each arrangement.
Petaltalk uses the freshest and highest quality flowers available, however it is important to remember that flowers are perishable and their lifespan can be affected by a change in weather conditions such as air conditioning and heating.
Privacy
All your details are kept strictly confidential. Petaltalk will never divulge or sell our client database to any third party.
Should you wish to stop receiving emails or correspondence from Petaltalk you may unsubscribe at any time.
To alleviate delivery problems we may need to contact the recipient. If you do not want the recipient contacted you must advise us when ordering.
No consent is given or implied to any person to connect or create any link to any other website or to copy any material from this site at any time.
Cancellations/Refunds
While we do our very best to ensure all flowers are up to our every high quality standards should you have flowers delivered to you that do not last 3-5 days please contact our customer service on 1800 614 717.
Cancellations
Should you need to cancel an order and you give us sufficient time to process the cancellation prior to the order being prepared, we will refund the credit card the order was made from for the full amount less an administration fee of $5.00. Unfortunately once the ordered has been prepared and/or sent off for despatch a refund cannot be given. 
Refunds
Refunds will only be made to the original credit card the order was made with online.
